Success for Tennis League Networks First National Tennis tourney

Waltham, MA- The first yearly USA tournament of the Tennis League Network (TLN), which facilities local online tennis communities in 34 cities and metro areas, was a large success, says TLN CEO Steve Chagnan. Held November 6-8 at Crandon Tennis Center in Miami, FL, The event, played on hard courts, drew 31 players of all tennis ablilites– all of the players winners in their respective local TLN seasons.

“This was an absolute delight to run as the tennis participants were all about getting out on the courts and playing some competitive tennis” said Steve Chagnan, TLN CEO. The TLN communities aim to link tennis players who are passionate about the game in either a Partner Program (non-competitive format) or Flex League format. Our team keeps that the tennis participants are getting players who are close to their skill level so they are enjoying fun breathtaking tennis matches. In the past 5 years we have seen over 43,000 tennis matches played and growing at a rate of 50%+ a year.

After many years of determining local champions, the conception of the National tourney was hatched to give these players a whole new level of involvement. You meet up with the players to play either a match or just hit around. The Partner Program is less competitive as there are no champions crowned and no league standings. The program just provides dedicated tennis partners who want to meet up with you on the courts.
Starting Feb. 1st, 2010, The partner program will be turning over to a monthly subscription service. Players who play 3 different partners in any calender month will get another month of service for free. The Partner Program is ongoing and remains open as long as the weather is good enough to play outdoor tennis. This is not a doubles program.
